Privacy Policy

At Lenuxo S. de R.L. (“Lenuxo”, “we” or “the Company”) we care about protecting the privacy of those who use ResiConnect (the “Platform”). This Policy describes what personal data we collect, what we use it for, who we share it with, and what rights data subjects have.

2. Personal data we collect

2.1. Through the website (contact form)

  • Full name.
  • Email address.
  • Phone number (optional).
  • Community name (optional).
  • The message you send us.

2.2. Through the ResiConnect app

Depending on the user role (administrator, resident, security guard, super administrator), the Platform processes different data:

  • Profile data: name, email, phone number, preferred language, profile picture (optional).
  • Family unit information: unit identifier, relationship between members (owner, member), resident contact details.
  • Operational data: QR codes generated for visitors, entry/exit logs, amenity bookings, payments and receipts (images), announcements, polls and votes.
  • Community data (administrators): name, address, common areas, assigned guards.
  • Push notification tokens for the device.

2.3. Technical and usage data

When you visit our website or use the app, we automatically collect:

  • IP address.
  • Browser type, operating system, and user agent.
  • Time zone and device language.
  • Approximate country and city derived from the above.
  • Dates and times of interactions logged by the Platform.

3. Purpose of processing

We use the data for the following purposes:

  • To operate and deliver the contracted Platform.
  • To handle contact requests, commercial demos, and support.
  • To control community access through QR codes and visit logs.
  • To manage payments, bookings, and communications within the contracting tenant.
  • To send relevant technical and operational notifications (e.g., due-date alerts, visitor arrivals, announcements).
  • To improve security, prevent fraud, and detect misuse.
  • To comply with applicable legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on one or more of the following grounds:

  • Performance of the contract between Lenuxo and the client (contracting community) or end user.
  • Consent provided by the data subject when filling out the contact form or accepting the Terms.
  • Legal obligations (tax, accounting, security).
  • Legitimate interest of Lenuxo to maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve the service.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell personal data. We only share it with service providers that are necessary to operate the Platform, under confidentiality and security obligations equivalent to this Policy:

  • Google LLC / Firebase: authentication, database, cloud functions, storage, and push notifications.
  • Email delivery providers (once implemented) for transactional and commercial notifications.
  • Payment processors (once implemented) for subscription billing.
  • Competent authorities, when there is a legal obligation to do so.

6. International transfers

Our providers, particularly Google/Firebase, operate servers outside of Honduras (mainly in the United States and other countries where Google has data centers). By using the Platform, you accept that your data may be transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions, always under contractual and legal security guarantees.

7. Retention

  • Contact form requests: up to 2 years since your last interaction.
  • Platform user data: for the duration of the community's subscription.
  • After subscription cancellation: 90 days to allow data recovery or export; afterwards data is permanently deleted, except for information we must keep due to legal obligations (e.g., accounting or billing records, typically 5 to 7 years).
  • Technical and security logs: up to 12 months.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data: encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest by our infrastructure providers, multi-factor authentication for critical operations, tenant isolation between communities, and database-level security rules. No system is invulnerable; in the event of a significant incident, we will notify those affected when the law requires it.

9. Your rights

You may exercise the following rights by emailing info@resi-connect.com from the address you used to register:

  • Access: know what data we process about you.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Deletion: request its removal, subject to applicable legal limitations.
  • Objection: object to certain processing activities.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured format.
  • Withdrawal of consent: when processing was based on consent.

We address requests within a reasonable time, generally no longer than 20 business days. Users residing in the European Union are additionally granted the rights provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge complaints with the competent supervisory authority.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

The website currently uses only local storage (localStorage) to remember the visitor's language preference. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools. If in the future we incorporate analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this Policy and implement a consent mechanism.

11. Minors

To create an account and accept the Terms, you must be at least 18 years old. Minors may be mentioned as members of a family unit under the responsibility of the account holder, but they do not have their own access to the Platform. We do not knowingly collect data directly from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy occasionally. The current version will always be available on this page with the last updated date. Significant changes will be communicated by email or through notice within the Platform with reasonable advance notice.
